The ES-2108-G comes with one dual personality Gigabit uplink port. Designed for current 100FX deployment, the ES-2108-LC comes with one independent 1-100FX port and one SFP slot to offer network bridging over the fiber connection with future hardware upgrade. In addition to having all the features of the ES-2108-G, ES-2108PWR includes the PoE (Power over Ethernet) feature to supply power to devices connected to the eight PoE ports simultaneously.

With four priority queues and WRR scheduling mechanism, ZyXEL's ES-2108 Series is able to perform traffic prioritizing for multi-service applications. You can also customize DSCP settings to provide an end-to-end QoS environment. In addition, you can enable IGMP snooping to optimize service quality for IP multicasting applications. For bandwidth management, the ES-2108 Series supports bandwidth increment of 64Kbps to give different bandwidth allocations.
